FSRA Mission Statement

FSRA is the governing body of scholastic-aged youth rowing in the state of Florida. FSRA operates as a non-profit organization (By-Laws) established to promote rowing as a sport among the youth of Florida. All FSRA member youth teams (club and high school) active during the Florida spring racing season will be invited to participate in the season-ending Florida State Championship Regattas (Champs Info).

As a service to the greater Florida rowing community, FSRA hosts an annual fall coach's meeting (open to everyone but only member organizations, high school, and club, may vote), lists FSRA insured regattas, and maintains a contact list of Florida high school and youth teams. Returning member dues and registration are due by the annual meeting. New members dues and registration are due by December 31. No late registrations are accepted. Organizational benefits are not extended to programs until annual registration is complete. Please contact the association officers for more information on membership or the championship regattas.

2023 Annual Meeting and College Fair

The 2023 Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, August 13th, noon-3p at the Julian B. Lane boathouse in Tampa. Food will be served from 12-1p. More details and an RSVP for a head count will be coming later. We will provide a virtual option for those that choose not to attend.

Prior to the annual meeting, FSRA is restarting the annual Fall College Fair at the same location, 10a - noon. This event is open to 2023-2024 JUNIORS & SENIORS ONLY. You must be listed on last years cleared athlete list as a Sophomore or Junior - OR- Provide school documentation that denotes grade level.
